I don’t know about you, but I find myself out & about with my laptop along quite often. Most of the time, I’m heading to the office. But every now and then I decide to combine lunch with a little internet surfing.
Most of the time, I end up at St. Louis Bread Company (also known as Panera Bread outside of the St. Louis area). In fact, when we had those terrible storms two years ago and half the city was without power for up to a week in July and again in December, I spent a substantial amount of time enjoying the electricity and working at Bread Co. I can almost always find a power source and an endless cup of coffee can keep me going for hours.
But occasionally I like to take my computer and try out someplace new. I just found a new tool to help you locate all of your WiFi options just about anywhere in the world. Check out PCWorld’s WiFi Finder and give a new coffee shop a try.
I now know that near my home, I could go to Meshuggah Coffee House, Krispy Kreme’s or even the Public Library. If you discover any surprising hotspots near your home, share them with us in the comments below.
