St. Louis Magazine 5 Star Customer Service Award

St. Louis Magazine's 5 Star Customer Service AwardMy clients really make my job easy.

They seem to appreciate my philosophy that each client should be treated as if they were family. Sometimes this means I’m pretty blunt about the downsides to making a purchase. If I wouldn’t want my sister or best friend to buy a house, I don’t want any of my clients to buy it either!

I believe that there are times when I need to encourage buyers to walk away from a possible purchase, even if that means that I won’t earn a commission at all. If I couldn’t do this job without telling people the truth about what I believe is in their best interest, I would find another line of work.

My sellers get the same upfront approach. If home sellers are looking for an agent that smiles and tells them how great their house is, they should find another agent. I’ll look for the best qualities of a home, but I’m also going to be pretty candid about what I think could be improved to make the property most attractive to home buyers so it will sell quickly and for the highest price the market will bear. Just yesterday I was thrilled to see how my new Maryland Heights listing shines following the changes that my seller made after our initial meeting. If sellers don’t want to make upgrades, that’s ok with me…as long as they understand that the pricing needs to reflect the condition and updates (or lack of them)!

It seems my clients appreciate my approach to real estate since they have once again honored me with St. Louis Magazine’s 5 Star Customer Service Award. As a 3 year winner, I’ve been included in this elite group each year since the award was instituted in 2006.

So for all my former clients that voted for me as one of the top 4% of St. Louis agents, THANK YOU!!!
