Nancy - Thanks for offering the discount to my blog readers.

I've used Brewer Inspection Services many times, including for my own home purchase. The reports are really thorough and the inspectors are really looking out for the buyer instead of just trying to make real estate agents happy by glossing over little things.

Brewer also offers radon and structural inspections, and arranges termite and sewer lateral inspections with outside companies so you don't have to call around a bunch of inspectors.

(Disclaimer - agents get sued all of the time for recommending services...so this is not a recommendation by me for Brewer's services. You should call any inspector you plan to use and make sure you are comfortable with them before hiring them)

Karen,

Thank you for explaining the importance of having a building inspection. And, as you explained there are a lot of "inspectors" out there that DO NOT stand behind their work. We at Brewer Inspection Services however DO stand behind our work. Mr. Brewer and Mr. Guffey are both ASHI certified inspectors, carry errors and omissions insurance and definitely stand behind their work!

We would like to offer anyone reading this and looking to have a home inspected, either prior to selling their home or prior to purchasing a home, to give us call at 636-391-0091 and we will give you $30 off a building inspection. (just by mentioning Karen's blog)
