Robert – I too appreciate humor, which is why I wanted to show it to all of my blog visitors. But, it really doesn’t belong as a primary picture in a home listing advertisement. Buying a home is a big investment and too many might see this picture as a reflection on the tackiness of the neighborhood.

I wouldn’t suggest doing anything that might turn off a large portion of your buyers.

While such a picture would cause some people to knock it off their list, I wonder if such a display of humor would influence some people to see it who might otherwise pass.

It may be comparing apples to oranges, but for years I had “biscuit boy” listed at the bottom of my resume (I worked at Popeyes the summer I was 16). Unprofessional? Maybe. But I got interviews because employers sifting through dozens of resumes would remember mine.
