Your divorce is irrelevant when considering eligibility for this program. Since you were a homeowner 2 years ago, you don&#039;t qualify for the 1st time buyer credit. But, there is a separate program for Missouri buyers purchasing foreclosures. You don&#039;t have to be a first time buyer to be eligible, but you do need to meet income eligibility guidelines and use an MHDC loan.
