A couple of weeks ago I announced that I had a bunch of tickets to give away to the St. Louis Builders Home & Garden Show coming to St. Louis from March 5-8.
Contest Winners:
Last week I announced the winners for my first two contests.
- Jonathan Pollack, a professional photographer, won the first photo contest by submitting this great photo of the St. Louis Loop.
- Vi Haegele with The Kelsey Group, REALTORS, won the first contest for real estate agents by scheduling a preview of my Lake St. Louis area home listing.
And the latest winners are…
- Ashley Gieseking submitted two great photos of commercial buildings in the Benton Park neighborhood. Her interior picture of this historic renovation of a commercial building at Cherokee and California is the winning entry for Photo Contest #2. The developer of this building is still looking for a tenant. If you are interested, email Ashley for more information.
1st Prize Winner

- Peggy Fox with Prudential Alliance Realtors is the winner of the real estate agent contest #2 for showing my Wildwood home listing and providing me with feedback after the showing.
Tickets will be mailed to each winner in time for the home show.
Congratulations to my winners and thank you to everyone that entered all of the contests!
More Chances to Win a FREE Home & Garden Show Ticket:
I’ve gotten busy with my regular real estate work…helping clients buy and sell homes…so I don’t have the time to run a bunch of individual contests before the Home Show big weekend.
So, I’m announcing a contest that gives away a bunch of tickets. I have 4 tickets to give away. Enter as often as you like and win up to 2 FREE tickets to the Home Show.
How to enter:
There is no limit to the number of times you can enter the contest. Every photo or comment counts as one entry, and each link counts as two entries. Tweet about it on Twitter and get a bonus entry. All entries must be received by Saturday 2/28/09 Monday 3/2/09.
1. Photo entries:
Submit a picture (or pictures) that represent any of the areas listed on my market report pages:
- St. Louis City
- St. Louis County (school district boundaries)
The pictures can be shots that represent typical housing in the community OR can be outside scenes that focus on community landmarks, recreation, parks, entertainment districts…or just capture the essence of the area. Pictures that include people are fine as long as the people are in the background and not a focus of the picture.
(See note at the end of this post for photo submission details)
2. Comment on a blog post
Leave a comment on any article found on this website other than this announcement post. Then come back here and let me know that you just made a comment contest entry by leaving a comment on this post.
3. Link to this blog
Everyone that writes a blog loves links from other websites. If you link to to ArchCityHomes from your website or blog, you’ll get a double entry into the contest. Links can be to any page or post in this site. Just come back to this post and leave a comment here letting me know that you made a link entry and include the URL to the page with the link. Not only will you be entered in the contest, but you’ll get a link back to your site too.
4. Tweet about your photo, comment or link entry
If you use Twitter, you can get a bonus entry. Simply enter the contest by following the rules for photo, comments or link entries. Then go to Twitter and send out a tweet to your followers about your entry with a link to this site. Make sure you let me know about the tweet here in the comments section so that you get credit for an extra entry.
Photo Submission details: Contestants can email as many pictures as they want as long as they personally took all of the pictures. All pictures remain the property of the photographer, but the photographer grants permission for all submitted photographs to be used on the Arch City Homes website. All pictures used on the website will identify the owner and will link (when possible) to the photographer’s website or photo sharing profile. No pictures will be sold…they will just be used to highlight the St. Louis community.
To make sure that you don’t miss the announcement of the winners, be sure to subscribe for future blog posts. Feel like reading more stuff by me…you can find some articles I’ve written on the Home & Garden show blog.
