Free ticket Giveaways for The Home & Garden Show coming to St. Louis in March!

I mentioned a few days ago that I was given 10 tickets to give away for the upcoming St. Louis Builders Home & Garden Show.

The first ticket raffle was announced yesterday and will be used to drum up some showings and feedback for one of my current home listings. Over the next few weeks, three more tickets will be raffled off to agents that show or preview specific properties and send me back feedback that I can share with my sellers.

FREE Ticket Contests for Photos, Comments and Links:

Though I am planning to use 4 of the 10 tickets to generate more interest in my home listings, I would never neglect my website visitors, Facebook friends and Twitter followers by not giving them an opportunity to win a ticket too.

The remaining 6 tickets will be given away in the next few weeks. The contests are open to all, so feel free to forward this to anyone that you think might want to attend the St. Louis Builders Home & Garden Show on March 5-9, 2009.

Enter as many of the contests as you want, but only one winning ticket will be allowed per person.

In the next few weeks, you will be able to enter 6 contests for a FREE ticket by either submitting photos, commenting on posts or writing a blog post and linking back here. Stay tuned for details so that your entries meet all of the contest eligibility requirements.

camera Photo Contest #1 Win a FREE Home & Garden Show TicketPhoto Contest #1:

Attention all digital camera owners…

Get out and enjoy the warm weekend. Then enter my Photo Contest #1 for a FREE ticket to the Home & Garden Show.

1. Submit a picture (or pictures) that represent any of the areas listed on my St. Louis County or St. Louis City Market Report Pages (scroll to the bottom of the market report pages for the list of communities).

2. The pictures should be outside scenes that focus on community landmarks, recreation, parks, entertainment districts…or just capture the essence of the area. Pictures that include people are fine as long as the people are in the background and not a focus of the picture.

3. Contestants can submit as many pictures as they want as long as they personally took all of the pictures. All pictures remain the property of the photographer, but the photographer grants permission for all submitted photographs to be used on the Arch City Homes website. All pictures used on the website will identify the owner and will link (when possible) to the photographer’s website or photo sharing profile. No pictures will be sold…they will just be used to highlight the St. Louis community.

4. Photos can be emailed to Karen Goodman by attaching the photos or sending a link to the photo on a photo sharing site such as Flickr. Each picture should identify the part of town where it was taken.

5. All photos need to be submitted by Friday 2/13/09. That’s only one week…so you have a great chance to win!

UPDATE: I’ve been sick most of this week and haven’t been promoting this contest, so I’m extending the deadline for submissions to Monday 2/16/09.

The photos will be judged on their ability to promote the part of town that they represent as a great place to live or play. It’s my contest, so I get to pick the winner.

The winner and runner up photos will be posted here with a link back to the photographers’ sites.

To make sure that you don’t miss any of the upcoming contest announcements, be sure to subscribe for future blog posts. Also, be sure to check out my articles on the Home & Garden show website.
