In 2005, St. Louis Magazine started publishing an annual Five Star Award to find real estate agents in St. Louis that were rated by their clients as Best in Client Satisfaction. The magazine partners with Crescendo Business Services to conduct an independent survey to identify the best residential real estate agents in town.
Five Star Award Winner 4 Years in a Row:
I am proud to announce that I was included in the select group of agents to win the 2008 Five Star Award!
I wish I could tell you how may other award winners are 4 year winners of the Five Star Award which began in 2005, but St. Louis Magazine doesn’t publish that information.
With over 15,000 licensed agents in the St. Louis area, the 2008 Five Star Award was given to less than 5% of local agents. Surveys were sent to 24,000 recent home buyers in the St. Louis area, plus 9,000 St. Louis Magazine subscribers and 250 mortgage and title companies.
Do I think that there are other great agents that didn’t make this list? Absolutely.
Truth be told, the list is probably biased towards agents that work with buyers, or split their time between buyers and sellers. Since it would be more challenging to track down the new addresses of home sellers, the surveys probably don’t pick up the excellent agents that primarily work with sellers.
Still, I am honored to be included in the 5 Star Award winner list because it means that my clients took the time out of their busy lives to complete a survey to help me win.
It means that my clients really do understand that I am looking out for their best interests. My philosophy is that I treat every client as if they were family or a close friend. If I wouldn’t let me sister buy a particular house, I don’t want you to buy it either! I will do everything I can to help you make good decisions when it is time to buy or sell a house. Sometimes that even means telling a buyer to walk away from a purchase or telling a seller not to sell. If I let a client make a purchase or sale that wasn’t in their best interests simply to make a buck, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.
