For those of you who have been regular Arch City Homes visitors, you’ve seen a lot of changes over the last 2 years.
I launched my fist website in October 2007. Only one month later, I wrote my first blog post. The site was initially called RealEstateInfoSTL.com and was a real estate template website.
I quickly realized that the site name was a bad choice. It was too long and it wasn’t fun having to spell it out every time I gave out my email address.
As I learned more about blogs and websites, I also realized that my template site was too limiting. It was like being forced to ride a bike with training wheels after you knew how to balance on your own. The training wheels may keep you from falling over, but they also prevent you from making sharp turns.
I wanted my site to be able to do things that it simply couldn’t do. I renamed the site Arch City Homes and moved it to WordPress, the preferred website platform for most bloggers.
One Year Later
Since joining Keller Williams earlier this year, my business model has undergone a major shift.
I started out as an agent who wore every hat. I showed buyers homes, photographed listings, measured rooms and created marketing campaigns to sell listings and my services.
But my business has grown over the last year. Now I have a team of professionals who work with me to take care of my clients.
It seemed like the right time to give this website a makeover to match the new direction of my business. I hired a fabulous web design team, Cynthia LaLuna and Deborah Wolfe with Rowboat Media. They did an amazing job.
I hope you’ll take a few minutes to explore the new site. There are still a few pages that need the content filled in…I’ll be working on that over the next few days. If you find anything confusing or broken, please take a minute to let me know.
If you are reading this in a feed reader, please click through and check out the new design.
