I think it is pretty standard in the waiting room for the service departments of major dealerships. My last car was a Honda Accord and I got all my service at Huey’s Honda on Lindbergh by Hwy 40, and they had free wifi with a desk and a table for working. And they did have free coffee out of one of those machines, though the coffee was terrible.

Again… a great resource! I am sitting in the waiting lobby at Jay Wolfe Toyota in Ballwin (Ellisville maybe?) and they have it here in their lobby, which is great. It got me wondering about how many (and which) automotive service facilities offer it. Could be a whole different post. Thanks again.

Another option for your St. Charles list is Java G’s, just off the Page Extension. I teach social media and internet marketing classes there and love it. Great atmosphere -

Daniel Boone Branch, St. Louis County Library (Ellisville)
free, plugs, cars

Not really a place to go if you are going to be on the phone a lot or in need of continuous caffeine, but it is a great environment to get into a “research” frame of mind and knock out some writing.

I can’t say what the other branches have, but Daniel Boone has an area set aside for laptop users, complete with tables, (somewhat) comfy chairs, and plenty of electricity.

Foley’s Pub in Maplewood right at the end of sutton on Marshall also has WiFi. They used to have wifi Tuesdays over the summer, where you could IM your order to the bartender. lol.

I appreciate the comment, but I’ve got my hands full with my blogs. I don’t do wikis. I’m happy to keep the post updated as people leave comments. And…I’m not sure that the average person is going to sign up and modify a wiki. I never have.

Of course, there isn’t anything stopping someone else from creating a wiki.
