Andy and Tammy Orahood video review of Karen Goodman’s real estate services assisting with their relocation to St. Louis and the purchase of a Maplewood home.
Video is becoming more and more a part of my business, so it makes sense to use it to introduce you to some of my clients and have them share with you their experiences in working with me and the Arch City Homes team.

Tammy first contacted me after reading about the Washington University Forgivable Housing Loan Program. Tammy was interviewing for a job at Wash U. She learned about the program, but was having difficulty finding good information about the loan program which offers forgivable loans to eligible employees who purchase properties in specific neighborhoods.
After giving up on the University’s website, she found my article on the program.
In our first phone conversation, Tammy described what she was looking for in a neighborhood and school system. It was clear to me that the homes which are geographically eligible for the program were not going to meet their needs.
I set them up for a home search and directed them to additional information on the school districts for the areas that met their housing preferences. After doing a little more research, they narrowed down their search to University City, Maplewood and Webster Groves.
As soon as Tammy officially had the job, they fly in for a weekend and we got out and looked at homes. After just a few days looking, they found a wonderful grand home…107 years old but completely rehabbed. It met all of their needs, including being in walking distance of the elementary school and 2 MetroLink stations.

It was a joy to work with Tammy and Andy and I’m thrilled to hear the boys love their new schools.
