peaches St. Louis Farmers Market Schedule

Farmer’s market season is back and this year there are even more markets to choose from in the St. Louis area.

Maybe you are a farmer market regular, or maybe you just want to pick up the freshest peaches in town during harvest season.

This year I’m going to try to make it to all of the markets in St. Louis City and County. I’d love to hear about your favorite market – just leave a note in the comments.

I also just discovered a Google Map of most of the local farmer’s markets. One word of warning, the map is a couple of years old so please confirm locations by the links for each market below. If you discover any information is wrong or find out a market is no longer operating, please let me know.

*** Markets marked with a star did not have 2011 information published at the time of this article’s publication. Information provided was for 2010′s schedule and may not be accurate for 2011.

Looks like the Troy Waterfront market hyperlink is actually linking to Troy, NY. Here I was excited about a year round farmer’s market out west, but no dice for this one. Please remove. Thanks.

William,

Thanks for catching the error. I removed the NY farmer’s market and did a little more digging. I found some updated information on the Troy, MO market in the Lincoln County paper. Granted, the info is sketchy, but apparently there will be a market in Troy this year.

Hi Karen! Looks like Webster Groves has just approved a farmer’s market. Info from Sauce magazine: http://www.saucemagazine.com/blog/?p=3644

Sappington, open year-round. If you want to expand to metro east, we have Belleville Farmer’s market x2 year-round and Swansea farmer’s market on Thursdays at Mel Price park May-Oct. And probably a lot more. :) http://www.localharvest.org/farmers-markets/
