I spent the first 5 years of my real estate career working with buyers relocating to the St. Louis area.

Quite often, buyers would to spend hours wading through hundreds of home for sale while preparing for their first house hunting trip.

When they arrived ready to look at homes, they often discovered that the areas they chose online just didn’t feel right to them. Home listings can tell you room sizes. Pictures can show you the kitchen cabinets and the backyard deck. The community information can tell you about the schools and Google maps can even show you if the house is on a cul de sac lot. But none of that gives you a feel for the community.

When I got my first video camera a a few months ago, I immediately knew that I had to put together some videos to show relocating buyers the feel for some of the more popular St. Louis neighborhoods.

Kirkwood, MO Driving Tour:

I’m going to apologize upfront for the video being a little rough. I definitely need to practice this new skill a bit more, and figure out how to tape while driving without getting all the wind noise.
