Buying a new home isn’t just about finding a house.

Lifestyle needs are critical if you want to be happy in your new home. If you are a dog lover and live in St. Louis, you should consider buying a home near one of our many dog parks.

When I realized that there didn’t seem to be an accurate comprehensive list of off-leash dog parks, I took it upon myself to put together a list for you.

Before visiting one of the dog parks listed below, please click through for more information to confirm that the park is still open and to check out the rules which vary from park to park. Most parks require registration, and all have restrictions on puppies and aggressive dogs, the number of dogs you can bring with you and the age of children allowed in the dog parks.

Registration is required for all St. Louis City and St. Louis County dog parks. If you want to just try one out for a day, head to St. Charles County or Arnold. They are free and no registration is required.
