Today’s Mortgage Rates:

Mortgage rate update for 3/31/09

If you are in St. Louis, I’m happy to meet you wherever it is most convenient for you to discuss your financing needs.

I also serve clients needing mortgages and refinancing throughout the United States. Give me a call and we can talk about which mortgage product would be best for your individual situation.

Not sure if you should refinance? I’m happy to offer a free no-obligation consultation to help you decide if it makes sense for you to refinance.

The Fine Print:

The interest rate you receive will vary depending on a number of items including the down payment amount, credit scores and the length of time between rate lock-in and closing. To discuss fees and what your interest rate would be for you, feel free to email or call me to discuss your individual situation.

All rates are based on zero point loans.

*** This information is not intended to extend consumer credit as defined Section 226.2 of Regulation Z. Interest rates, program terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

St. Louis Neighborhood Guide

by Karen Goodman on March 30, 2009

in About St. Louis, Buyers

St. Louis has many great neighborhoods and communities. Regardless of the lifestyle you want or the stage of life you are in, there are likely many places where you would feel at home.

St. Louis Magazine published a fun article in their April 2009 print issue, “The Perfectly Personified, Quasi-Bona Fide Guide to St. Louis Neighborhoods“. Inspired by their article, I’ve put together my own personal neighborhood guide.

Where are the Best Places to Live & Play in St. Louis?

Confused manWith so many choices in where to live in the St. Louis metro area, choosing the best location can be daunting. St. Louis residents often rely on preconceived notions and are not willing to give a new community a chance that might be perfect for them.

For people relocating to St. Louis, it can be even harder to decide where they should live. Often relocating buyers find themselves bombarded with suggestions from their new co-workers. I’ve even had buyers come to me with questions about areas based on the advice of a waitress or airplane seatmate.

If you are relocating, your real estate agent should be able to help you sort through the maze of options and help you select a neighborhood that is perfect for you.

What’s Happening with Mortgages?

Over the last few months, interest rates were so volatile that publishing them here didn’t make sense. By the time the rates were published they may have already changed. The market seems to have settled down and I plan to publish rates here [...]
