Even since I started this blog in 2007, I’ve been snapping pictures around town. Our new focus on promoting the communities as part of the marketing for our listings has me capturing even more pictures in our wonderful city.
I hope you will enjoy our new weekly series, St. Louis in Pictures.
Each week I’ll highlight some of my favorite pictures from a different part of town, plus will include a link to see more pictures from the area on Flickr. At times I may even have a video to share. The photo shoot locations will include places where we sell homes along with photos I’ve taken as I get out and explore the city. I’ll probably throw in some day trips from St. Louis too.
Normandy School District Village Communities:
Just south of Hwy 70 and surrounding the UMSL campus, there are a handful of quaint communities that offer a quality of life you won’t find at such an affordable price anywhere else in town.
The Village of Pasadena Park is a small municipality of 241 homes. It is filled with affordable, charming homes like the 2 bedroom updated home in Pasadena Park we just listed for only $75,000. I challenge you to find other areas this nice with homes this cheap.
Nearby, you will also find Pasadena Hills, Bel-Nor, Bellerive and several other charming communities. This pocket of tiny village communities…all about the size of a subdivision…is an oasis of green and trees that defies what most people imagine when they think of North County.

The area also is home to one of St. Louis County impressive parks, St. Vincent Park.

The area also has many dining and shopping options.
