I actually grew up in the Creve Coeur area and my first St. Louis apartment was just a few miles away in Maryland Heights MO.

I know there streets without using maps or GPS. I can tell you what restaurants are where, and know all of the short cuts.

Typically, homes located just north or south of Olive Blvd. are less expensive than homes located near Ladue Rd. Both of these streets have a lot of traffic (Olive has 4 lanes with a turning lane in the middle, and Ladue has 2 lanes without a turning lane). Both streets also run the length of the Creve Coeur area from east to west.

Homes priced between $200,000 – $300,000 will almost always have been built in the early 1960s. Newer homes will be more expensive. Most homes are 1 story homes (ranch homes) and most have large basements and 2 car attached garages. There are some ranch homes without basements (slabs) or garages, some 2 story homes and some split level homes in this area.

Creve Coeur is surrounded by other popular areas of St. Louis, so many people looking in Creve Coeur also look in the neighboring communities.

If you are ready to sell your St. Louis home, the agent you choose really makes a difference.
